About Us
The name Venus Public School is quite old in Nepali academia; it inherits a rich and glorious educational legacy. It has carved for itself a brilliant educational trajectory since its inception. Consequently; it has been upgraded with its new +2 wings, having effect from the academic session 2075. Venus public school Jorpati has been one of the best schools in the eastern part of Kathmandu valley. It was established in 1998 and has been a tremendous foundation for spreading quality education. It has been running +2 education in the management stream and will upgrade soon with bachelor's and master's degrees courses in the recent future. About us, Collaboration and supports are central to the school ethos. We here at Venus are heading forward to create integrate and impart quality and value-based education. It is to develop high potential professional and disciplined pupils to compete for currents updates in their fields. We desire to train our students with current technology and motivate them to take up with professional personality development programs to meet the challenges in the competitive world in effective manner. Scholarship
VENUS +2 Scholarships are awarded to exceptional students in order to recognize and promote academic excellence. There are many Scholarships for commendable students who satisfy expected norms. Venus National College provides full and partial scholarships to the needy and deserving students. All the scholarships are provided depending upon the student’s academic performance, class activities and academic progress.

This scholarship is awarded on the basis of entrance exam result taken for new admission in each year but each entrance topper must secure at least 80 % marks in Entrance Test to be eligible to get this scholarship.

Three each from all streams and levels will get a scholarship for three, two and one month monthly tuition fee waived for first, second and third respectively.

Three students from each streams and levels will get this scholarship. The first will get 100% scholarship (except lab and annual fees) and second will get 50% scholarship in monthly tuition fees and third will get three months tuition fees waived.

Applicants need at least GPA 2.6 or Equivalent Grades in SEE/Equivalent exams for Science & at least GPA 2.4 or Equivalent Grades in SEE/Equivalent exams for Management.

Application forms for admission and entrance exam entry are available at the VENUS office and also online at www.venus.edu.np/downloads. Applicants should submit these forms duly filled in with all supporting documents by the given deadline.

Getting through this Test is mandatory for your admission. The Entrance Test appropriately assesses the examinee in areas related to the choice of course – Science or Management. We suggest student applicants collect Sample Test Papers along with their Application forms in order to prepare themselves for this competitive entry exam.

The results of the Entrance Test are strictly based on the order of merit and normally declared the very next day of the Test: The names of the selected student applicants are pasted on the College Notice Board and also posted on the College website: www.venus.edu.np/downloads

Student applicants who have cleared the Entrance Test are individually interviewed thereafter. The date and time of each interview is mentioned in the Entrance Test Results sheet. It should be kept in mind by the Applicants that they ought to be accompanied by either their parents or their guardians when they come for the interview. As part of the application approval process, all children have to participate in an age-appropriate entry assessment for basic math, languages (English and Nepali) and social interaction. This is needed to ensure a smooth and fully supported transition to the school and is by no means a “pass/fail” test. Parent interviews will also take place to ensure that their outlook towards education is in alignment with the school’s values and learning goals.

Yes, our school offers varied scholarships to students on a need-cum-merit basis.
Scholarships are provided on the basis of merit as well as criteria set by NEB. Student candidates are required to appear in scholarship exams held by the school for which the school admission desk provides you with the dates and time of exam. Selection is transparent and fair and thus, it is mandatory to pass out the scholarship exams.
