About Us
Gokarneshwor Light Academy is community based private Secondary school which runs classes in English Medium. In the lap of Gokarna Forest, it is flourishing its name, fame and knowledge in surrounding area. Established on 2064 B.S by socially motivated personals of Makalbari, now it accommodates and provides the education for more than 370 students with 25 teaching and non teaching staffs. With the theme of "Value education for creativity", we are more focused on value education through inner virtues such as Filial Piety, Loyalty, Brotherly love, courtesy, Benevolence, Faith, Righteousness, and justice. With a motto of quality education, GLA conducts various extracurricular activities that enhance the inner values and outer actions blended together.
