About Us

All schools have traditions, and Nisarga Batika School is no different. Some of our traditions came from the Leadership Team and their combined experiences in the education, their motivation to change and create a comfortable learning environment for the children. Founded in the year 2012, Nisarga Batika School started as an initiative of a group of educators who wished to bring about a meaningful change in the lives of students and teachers and promote a culture of vibrant and engaging learning in schools across Nepal. Motivated and inspired by progressive educational values and their own experiences in teaching, teacher training and curriculum development, the journey commenced on 6th May 2013 in small 8-room infrastructure. The first year was a humble beginning of two dozen students and a dozen staff, with just the preschool and junior elementary.

Today the school is divided into four levels – Preschool, Junior Elementary, Senior Elementary, and the High School. It is spread across some 125,000 sq. ft of land and over 40,000 sq. ft of built up activity rooms and classrooms, has two swimming pools, two basketball courts, lots of open spaces, and separate pre-school, elementary school and high school infrastructures. Separate infrastructure for the preschool was developed in the year 2017, and the development of the high school wing infrastructure was finished in 2021. The infrastructure for the school and its students has been an ongoing part of development at the Nisarga Batika School.  It has been able to establish itself as well sought-after school in the country with an environment promoting quality class time, teacher attention and enrichment activities necessary for the kind of education they desired for their children.

All of our programs are geared towards providing a progressive educational environment which prioritizes experiential learning. The school designs individualized plans according to the needs of every child. We encourage practical life skills which helps children to adapt to the society. We inspire each child to become a life-long learner and the children learn through real world experiences. Nisarga Batika School shares the dream of providing an experiential learning environment where children can grow and learn freely.
